MOQA helps you build a healthier relationship with technology. We believe phones should serve you—not the other way around. Everything we create follows three principles:

MOQA is free to download and use. Optional premium subscriptions and a voluntary rewards system keep the experience ad-free and engaging.

2. Privacy and Data Practices

MOQA collects the minimum data necessary to operate properly and improve your experience.

We use Apple’s public Screen Time and Device Activity APIs strictly within Apple’s privacy framework and only with your explicit permission.

We collect:

• Basic account details (e.g., email if provided)

• Limited device-activity metrics from Apple’s APIs

• Optional summaries you choose to share through our Rewards Program

We never sell or share your personal data for marketing.

Data is encrypted in transit and at rest, stored securely, and retained only as long as needed for legitimate purposes such as account maintenance or reward verification.

3. License Grant and App Use

MOQA is licensed—not sold—to you. Subject to this Agreement and Apple’s App Store Terms, BOMAD LLC grants a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use MOQA for personal, non-commercial purposes on devices you own or control.

You may not:

• Copy, reverse-engineer, or modify the app;

• Rent, lease, or sublicense it;

• Circumvent security or interfere with its operation.

 

4. Account Rules and Eligibility

• You must be 13 or older to use MOQA (under 18 requires parental consent).

• Keep credentials confidential.

• Don’t impersonate others or use offensive usernames.

• We may suspend or terminate accounts for violations.

• If you believe a child under 13 is using MOQA, contact support@moqa.me.

 

5. Subscriptions and Refund Policy

Free Plan: Core mindful-use features.

Premium Plan: Optional paid features offering deeper insights and additional perks.

• Billing and refunds are handled by Apple under its App Store policies.

• You may cancel anytime in iOS Settings.

• If purchased through other channels, refunds may be granted within 30 days at our discretion.

• Subscription tiers or pricing may change with notice in-app.

 

6. Rewards Program (including optional Bank It)

Our Rewards Program helps you stay accountable and gain deeper insight into how you use your phone.

By combining Apple’s Screen Time data with voluntary user input, MOQA can deliver personalized feedback on your focus, habits, and progress—so you can use your device more mindfully.

How it Works

• Participation is completely optional; you can enjoy MOQA without it.

• You may choose to upload a QR code or screenshot summarizing your own Screen Time information. Doing so lets MOQA verify your progress, enhance accuracy, and generate richer insights into your patterns of use.

• When verified, you earn Beans, MOQA’s virtual currency, redeemable for in-app perks or partner offers.

• Submitting falsified information will result in forfeiture of Beans and possible account suspension.

Why it Matters

Bank It is not just about rewards—it’s about awareness. The data you share helps MOQA to:

• Provide deeper, more precise feedback on focus, balance, and daily rhythm;

• Generate personalized trends and reports that empower you to improve;

• Encourage sustainable, healthy tech habits through reflection and reinforcement.

Data Handling

• Information shared through Bank It is used only to generate insights, verify activity completion, and maintain fairness.

• We retain it only as long as necessary for those purposes, after which it may be securely deleted or anonymized per our retention policy.

• This data is never used for advertising or sold to third parties.

Bank It acts as a self-reporting reflection tool that enables you to see and understand your digital life with greater clarity—while keeping your privacy intact.

 

7. Communications and Email

If you provide an email address, we may use it to:

• Deliver earned rewards (e.g., gift cards);

• Send mindful-use tips or product updates;

• Send marketing emails only with your consent.

You can unsubscribe any time via email footer or by contacting us.

 

8. User Content and Feedback

You may submit content or ideas to improve MOQA. By doing so, you grant BOMAD LLC a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use and adapt your submission. You must own the rights to your content and not post anything abusive or infringing.

 

9. External Services and Gift Cards

MOQA may link to third-party services or offer digital gift cards from external providers.

• Gift cards are governed by each provider’s terms.

• BOMAD LLC is not responsible for availability, balance, or redemption issues.

• Apple Inc. and its affiliates are not sponsors or participants in any MOQA promotion.

 

10. Intellectual Property and Acceptable Use

All content and software within MOQA belong to BOMAD LLC or its licensors.

You may not copy, modify, or exploit them without permission. Use MOQA only for lawful purposes and avoid activities that disrupt or compromise the service.

 

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless BOMAD LLC, its officers, employees, and partners from any claims arising from your use of MOQA or violation of this Agreement.

 

12. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account for any reason, including suspected fraud or abuse. Upon termination, your license ends and unredeemed Beans expire.

 

13. Disclaimers and Liability Limits

MOQA is provided “as is” and “as available.” We make no guarantees of error-free operation or uninterrupted service.

To the maximum extent allowed by law:

• We disclaim all implied warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose;

• We are not liable for indirect or consequential damages;

• Our total liability will not exceed $50 or the amount paid to us in the preceding 12 months.

Your sole remedy for dissatisfaction is to stop using MOQA.

 

14. Apple Integration and Third-Party Beneficiary

MOQA uses Apple’s Screen Time and Device Activity APIs, which operate entirely within Apple’s privacy framework and require explicit user permission.

We never access private system data or non-public frameworks.

Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of this Agreement and may enforce it under Apple’s App Store terms.

Apple is not responsible for support, maintenance, or claims arising from the App.

 

15. Dispute Resolution and Governing Law

We seek informal resolution first. If that fails, you agree to binding individual arbitration under the Federal Arbitration Act and AAA rules.

You waive any right to class actions.

California law governs this Agreement; venue is Los Angeles County.

Opt out within 30 days by emailing support@moqa.me with “Opt Out of Arbitration” in the subject line.

 

16. Changes to These Terms

We may update this Agreement periodically. The “Last Updated” date above reflects the latest version.

Material changes will be notified via email or in-app.

Continued use signifies acceptance of the updated terms.
